Southern California Hiking Adventures

This website to tell the stories of my hiking adventures through Photos and writings about animals and trail condition of the trails traveled. This site will always be updated with new trail conditions and new photography as I revisit the San Gabriel’s and other mountain ranges throughout southern California and beyond.

As the saying goes "A picture is worth a Thousand words" I will have weekly Pictorials of my hiking adventures.

As I Adventure through these trail in the Southern California Mountains my lifelong friend that I have known since I was 7 years old Daniel Rusin and newly found friends Javier and Long that are training for a hike from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest trail. Join me on these hiking Adventures.

Paul Christie was born in 1966 in the city of Pasadena, California, ever since he can remember he would go hiking, traveling and camping with Family, when he was 5 years old he remembers hiking up to Henninger Flats with his dad and five sisters hauling all the camping gear and food on a wagon up Mt. Wilson toll road to Henninger Flats above Pasadena, as a teenager he hiked all over the San Gabriel mountains with his friends and family visiting Santa Anita, Eaton, Millard, Rubio, Arroyo canyons, Mt Lowe, Echo mountain just to name a few. As an adult he has hike far and wide thought-out the San Gabriel’s, San Bernardino, Tehachapi, Sierra Nevada and Rocky mountains. From local hikes to his travels in the USA and Europe, his photography and writing have spanned the globe.
